How To Update VirtualBox

VirtualBox is an app for macOS that is developed by Virtualbox.

Most of the time updating any app on macOS is pretty easy. Why update VirtualBox? Because updates usually contain security fixes and other improvements that keep your Mac safe and performant. 1. The standard way to update VirtualBox

First, we need to open the app:


Next, on VirtualBox's menubar, click on "Check For Updates..." or a similar menu item:


If there is an update to VirtualBox, you will be prompted to install it — pretty easy.

2. Check for the latest version of VirtualBox with iBoostUp's Check My Apps function:

 - Click "Check My Apps".
 - Click "Check my Applications Now".
