How To Update Xee

Xee is an app for macOS that is developed by C3.

Most of the time updating any app on macOS is pretty easy. Why update Xee? Because updates usually contain security fixes and other improvements that keep your Mac safe and performant. Keeping all your Mac's apps up-to-date is an essential part of maintaining the security and performance of your machine — personally running the latest version of everything on my Mac keeps my mind at ease.

Today I'll show you an easy way to install the very latest version of Xee onto your Mac, and a really good way to be notified of new updates. Let's get straight to it!

1. The standard way to update Xee

First, we need to open the app:


Next, on Xee's menubar, click on "Check For Updates..." or a similar menu item:


If there is an update to Xee, you will be prompted to install it — pretty easy.

2. Check for the latest version of Xee with iBoostUp's Check My Apps function:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "Check My Apps".
 - Click "Check my Applications Now".




This will check for updates to Xee and all other apps on your Mac. Using iBoostUp's Check My Apps is the optimal way to check for updates to Xee and other apps you have installed all in one go, regardless of where you installed them from!
