How To Update Todoist

Todoist is a productivity app for macOS that is developed by Doist.

Most of the time updating any app on macOS is pretty easy. Why update Todoist? Because updates usually contain security fixes and other improvements that keep your Mac safe and performant. Keeping all your Mac's apps up-to-date is an essential part of maintaining the security and performance of your machine — personally running the latest version of everything on my Mac keeps my mind at ease.

Today I'll show you an easy way to install the very latest version of Todoist onto your Mac, and a really good way to be notified of new updates. Let's get straight to it!

1. The standard and easiest way to update Todoist

First, we need to open the App Store:



Next, in the App Store window click on the "Updates" section of the sidebar then tap on Update next to the Todoist icon:


The update to Todoist will now install automatically, easy wasn't it?!

2. Check for the latest version of Todoist with iBoostUp's Check My Apps function:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "Check My Apps".
 - Click "Check my Applications Now".
