How To Update VideoPad

VideoPad is a video app for macOS that is developed by NCH Software.

Most of the time updating any app on macOS is pretty easy. Why update VideoPad? Because updates usually contain security fixes and other improvements that keep your Mac safe and performant. Keeping all your Mac's apps up-to-date is an essential part of maintaining the security and performance of your machine — personally running the latest version of everything on my Mac keeps my mind at ease.

Today I'll show you an easy way to install the very latest version of VideoPad onto your Mac, and a really good way to be notified of new updates. Let's get straight to it!

1. The standard and easiest way to update VideoPad

First, we need to open the App Store:



Next, in the App Store window click on the "Updates" section of the sidebar then tap on Update next to the VideoPad icon:


The update to VideoPad will now install automatically, easy wasn't it?!

2. Check for the latest version of VideoPad with iBoostUp's Check My Apps function:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "Check My Apps".
 - Click "Check my Applications Now".




This will check for updates to VideoPad and all other apps on your Mac. Using iBoostUp's Check My Apps is the optimal way to check for updates to VideoPad and other apps you have installed all in one go, regardless of where you installed them from!
