How To Update TextWrangler

TextWrangler is a developer tools app for macOS that is developed by Barebones.

Most of the time updating any app on macOS is pretty easy. Why update TextWrangler? Because updates usually contain security fixes and other improvements that keep your Mac safe and performant. 1. The standard way to update TextWrangler

First, we need to open the app:


Next, on TextWrangler's menubar, click on "Check For Updates..." or a similar menu item:


If there is an update to TextWrangler, you will be prompted to install it — pretty easy.

2. Check for the latest version of TextWrangler with iBoostUp's Check My Apps function:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "Check My Apps".
 - Click "Check my Applications Now".
