How To Uninstall ViewNX 2

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall ViewNX 2:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "ViewNX 2".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove ViewNX 2 using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type killall "ViewNX 2", hit ENTER
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/Nikon Software/ViewNX 2/ViewNX 2.app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Nikon Software/ViewNX 2/ViewNX 2.app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/jp.co.nikon.viewnx2, hit ENTER.

3. Completely remove ViewNX 2 and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".
 - Click "Select Application", then select "ViewNX 2" from the list and click "Uninstall".
 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.

This will remove ViewNX 2 and all related files from your Mac.
