How To Uninstall DocumentLauncher

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall DocumentLauncher:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "DocumentLauncher".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove DocumentLauncher using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type killall DocumentLauncher, hit ENTER
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/Canon Utilities/ImageTransferUtility/ReadMe(Image Transfer Utility).app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Canon Utilities/ImageTransferUtility/ReadMe(Image Transfer Utility).app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/jp.co.canon.documentlauncher, hit ENTER.

This will remove DocumentLauncher from your Mac, but some supporting and related files will be left behind. Read on for how to remove those.

3. Completely remove DocumentLauncher and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".
 - Click "Select Application", then select "DocumentLauncher" from the list and click "Uninstall".
 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.

This will remove DocumentLauncher and all related files from your Mac.
