How To Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "Symantec Endpoint Protection".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove Symantec Endpoint Protection using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/Symantec Endpoint Protection.app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Symantec Endpoint Protection.app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.symantec.navx, hit ENTER.

3. Completely remove Symantec Endpoint Protection and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".
 - Click "Select Application", then select "Symantec Endpoint Protection" from the list and click "Uninstall".
 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.

This will remove Symantec Endpoint Protection and all related files from your Mac.
