How To Uninstall StuffIt Expander
StuffIt Expander is a utilities app for macOS that is developed by Stuffit.

Today I'll show you 3 very easy ways to uninstall and completely remove StuffIt Expander from your Mac, so let's get straight to it!

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall StuffIt Expander:
First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:
- Now, open your Applications folder.
- Right-click on "StuffIt Expander".
- Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)
2. How to remove StuffIt Expander using the Terminal:
- Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
- Type killall "StuffIt Expander", hit ENTER
- Type rm -rf "/Applications/StuffIt 12/StuffIt Expander.app", then hit ENTER.
- If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/StuffIt 12/StuffIt Expander.app"
- Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.stuffit.stuffit-expander, hit ENTER.

3. Completely remove StuffIt Expander and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:
- Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
- Click "App Uninstaller".
- Click "Select Application", then select "StuffIt Expander" from the list and click "Uninstall".
- Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.
This will remove StuffIt Expander and all related files from your Mac.
