How To Uninstall Rosetta Stone Version 3

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall Rosetta Stone Version 3:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "Rosetta Stone Version 3".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove Rosetta Stone Version 3 using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type killall "Rosetta Stone", hit ENTER
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/Rosetta Stone Version 3.app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Rosetta Stone Version 3.app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.rosettastone.rosettastoneversion3, hit ENTER.

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".

 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.
