How To Uninstall HP Registration Assistant

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall HP Registration Assistant:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "HP Registration Assistant".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove HP Registration Assistant using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type killall "HP Registration Assistant", hit ENTER
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/HP/Device Utilities/HP Registration Assistant.app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/HP/Device Utilities/HP Registration Assistant.app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.hp.registrationassistant, hit ENTER.

This will remove HP Registration Assistant from your Mac, but some supporting and related files will be left behind. Read on for how to remove those.

3. Completely remove HP Registration Assistant and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".
 - Click "Select Application", then select "HP Registration Assistant" from the list and click "Uninstall".
 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.

This will remove HP Registration Assistant and all related files from your Mac.
