How To Uninstall Google Earth

1. The standard and easiest way to uninstall Google Earth:

First, we need to make sure the app isn't running, so lets open Force Quit (from the Apple menu on the top left of your screen) and terminate the app if you see it running:


 - Now, open your Applications folder.
 - Right-click on "Google Earth".
 - Click on "Move to Bin" (or "Move to Trash" on older versions of macOS)

2. How to remove Google Earth using the Terminal:

 - Open the macOS Terminal from Applications > Utilities.
 - Type killall "Google Earth", hit ENTER
 - Type rm -rf "/Applications/Google Earth.app", then hit ENTER.
 - If that fails, try typing sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Google Earth.app"
 - Now type rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.google.googleearthplus, hit ENTER.

3. Completely remove Google Earth and related files using iBoostUp's Uninstaller:

 - Open iBoostUp (download free, or search for it on the App Store).
 - Click "App Uninstaller".
 - Click "Select Application", then select "Google Earth" from the list and click "Uninstall".
 - Enter your password if prompted, you may choose to skip this by clicking cancel — note that skipping this prompt will leave some files behind that you can remove manually, these will be shown as 'skipped' on the results screen.

This will remove Google Earth and all related files from your Mac.
